Hi Jayana
You are worrying too much. Samaveda used to be broadcast for
half an hour once a week on AIR Vijayawada and it used to be different
parts each week. Also there is a region in AP called Konaseema where
there are a lot of people who can chant the vedas. There is a
Vedamahasabha organised every year in Vijayawada during the Navaratri
period and pundits from all over AP come the attend it. Based on their
expertise, they are also given degrees. So there are people who know
how to chant samaveda and quite a few of them are young(i have seen
and heard a few of them myself). So dont worry about its extinction:-)
