Rat Goddess?

I'm trying to confirm the existence thereof and/or find any and all 
information that might be available concerning a manifestation of one of 
the Hindu gods in the form of a rat or a particular god's associations 
with rats. I've heard of a temple somewhere in India where a 'rat 
goddess' is worshiped, any idea? Thanks a lot!
