Yeah, I attended a camp when I was 16 and it was one of the best weeks I
can remember. I attended the Chinmaya family summer camp which featured
lectures from Swami Chinmayananda and Swami Tejomayananda. There were also
plenty of other activities at the camp according to age and interest. I
STRONGLY recommend attending some sort of Hindu retreat which emphasizes
our ideals whether it be the Chinmaya camp or any other camp, which i'm
sure are equally beneficial.
I am not aware of any documentation that lists all of the various camps
around the country.
This summer the Chinmaya family camp is in northern California. The
beauty of the Chinmaya camp is that it is beneficial to all ages, and can
be attended alone, with family, friends, or any other combination.
I've heard of camps on the east coast as well. Best of luck finding
something in your area.
