As much as you'd like to pretend that it isn't the case, the HSC
_still_ advertises that they own the newsgroup. In this case, the
message seems to be outdated, but it was once again posted, this time
from what seems to be an official HSC account:

In other words, the HSC is _still_ promoting themselves as owning the
newsgroup, just as the web site has said for many months now.
