Re: ARTICLE : This reorg thing is spoiling SRH
Gosh, Sudheer, imagine seeing your name again. Last time, you made all
sorts of accusations about what I said, and when I asked you to
provide supporting evidence, you did not. Now you're trying a new tack
on things, and once again, you're equally wrong.

If you look at the original RFD, it was specifically requested that
all discussion take place in the newsgroup news.groups _only_.
In fact, I argued that the discussion should _not_ be in SRH because
I didn't think that most people would be that interested in every
minor detail.
However, the moderator of SRH specifically _requested_ that it take
place on SRH, and that's why it's now on SRH in addition to
news.groups. In other words, if you want to blame someone for bringing
this discussion to SRH, don't blame any of the reorg proponents - we
asked that it take place on news.groups.
However, if someone is going to accuse me of things on SRH, I expect
that my rebuttal should also be allowed on SRH. So, as a result, I
post to SRH when someone else posts accusations on SRH.

We specifically asked that if the reorg proposal were not acceptable,
that a parallel group be allowed. However, we were told that it was
not possible. So, the simplest solution to end the reorg would be to
allow it to go to a vote. Of course, as long as the current moderator
is unwilling to allow the reorg to go to a vote, then the powers that
be will not allow it.

A very interesting proposal. Please go ahead and push it forward if
you'd like. However - a simple request - the SRH reorg proponents
specifically asked the discussion take place on news.groups, so if you
wish to propose a reorg for SRV, please make the following request in
your proposal. Needless to say, I think that your reorg idea has some
serious flaws with it, but I'll be more than happy to discuss them
with you in the pre-RFD phase.
Oh yes, you will recall that the SRH reorg had a pre-RFD phase, where
input was requested on news.groups, right?
All of your conspiracy theories are falling apart when confronted with
the facts, Sudheer. At some point, you should be gentlemanly enough to
admit that they are wrong.
