Would you like to open a discussion on the US presidential race here?
I believe that many Hindus would be interested in the matter. Is such
a discussion on-topic for soc.religion.hindu? Why or why not?

Oddly enough, neither Shrisha nor I want control of this newsgroup,
and that's why we're listed as _proponents_ of the reorg rather than
_moderators_. There's a big difference, and perhaps you should
understand that statement before spreading misinformation. See the
