Yes, you are correct, and let's look at the history of this point:
a) the RFD itself asked that all discussion take place _only_ on
news.groups
b) the moderator of SRH unilaterally decided that SRH was a proper
venue for such discussions
c) the proponents objected, stating that since news.groups has always
been used for such discussions, and that most readers of SRH would
probably not be interested in every single article about the reorg
d) the proponents objections were ignored, and as a result, the reorg
discussions are taking place on SRH
In short, please don't blame the proponents - we asked that the
discussions _not_ take place on SRH, but then again, we don't have any
say on what gets posted to SRH, and our points were overruled.
