We had invited a few Indians from the Helsinki area to our house during
Easter. One of them brought alongwith him a Muslim friend who had been
living in Finland for the past 8-9 years. After he had helped himself to
generous servings of meat, I asked him about the concept of "Halaal Meat."
He explained atlength what the term exactly meant but a few points that are
really worth noting are::

The Muslim guest helped himself generously to the meat without
verifying whether it was 'halal'. Therefore, by his own definition, he
is NOT a true Muslim.
Can we then assume that he knows enough about the real meanings of
Islamic practises? Would his shallow understanding not be a distortion
of some rubbish preached to him by an Imam who is unable to keep his
congregation on the right path?
Surely to take aggressive action based on such heresay is not the
Hindu way!

Truth, viewed from all angles, remains Truth.
My response:;
Singam, what I have mentioned in my message about halaal meat is indeed the
truth. It is not " A DISTORTION OF SOME RUBBISH PREACHED TO HIM " as you
mention above. Ask any Mohammadan whom you know or better still GO to the
first mosque in your vicinity in your QUEST FOR TRUTH.
After fully satisfying myself of the truth and facts behind the Mohammadan
approach to Halaal meat, have I made my own RESOLUTION of
VOWING NEVER TO OFFER anyone HALAAL MEAT in any form,fashion,shape or
disguise. I consider it an insult to my dignity to first ASCERTAIN whether
the animal was killed by a Mohammadan and only then offer it to any
Mohammadan guest who visits my house. I consider it to be an insult to my
dignity to make the meat PURE from the Mohammadan*s perspective and then
offer it to him on a platter!! I consider it an insult to my dignity to
acknowledge that meat prepared by a Mohammadan is pure whilst the same
prepared by a Hindu/Sikh is impure.
I don't consider my above resolution to be Aggressive as you mention in your
message. I am just REFUSING TO BELIEVE that killing AN ANIMAL by some people
makes the meat PURE whilst killing the same animal by others MAKES the same
meat impure !!
Please keep me posted on your quest for truth.
