NamaskAr:
Lord Ayyappan is frequently referred to as "Hariharaputra" as he
is believed to be the son of Hari or vishnu (in the form
of a lady named MohinI) and HarA or shivA. putra means son in sanskR.t
One mantra traditionally used, that I was fortunate to learn, is:
bhoota nAtha dayA nanda sarva bhoota dayA para
raksha raksha mahA bAho shAstrE tubhyam namo namah
I would be happy to provide you with more mantras on Lord Hari-harA
that I am familiar with. I am also kind of curious as to how you
became interested in finding out mantrAs used in worship of
Lord Ayyappan.
Hope that helps.
shivA
