REQUEST : Samskrit Words
I have thought over this for quite some time. But I have
not arrived at some definite answers. Perhaps, some netters
can throw some light on this.
In Hindu and pan-Hindu terminologies, I saw a lot of words,
which are amazingly close from the point of pronunciation,
but almost opposite in their meaning. I will highlight some
of these words:
Vishnu (the preserver) and vish (poison)
Shiva (the mrityunjaya) and shava (the corpse)
Bramha/Bramhan (the knower) and bhrama (confusion)
Veda (knowledge, which releases bondage)
and vedana (pain/bondage)
I have a lot more examples. But the point is:
Is all this just coincidental, or is there an
underlying message.
