general state of apathy in India, huh? Since when did "Cosmopolitan
India" subscribe to the loftiness or aloofness of advaita?
The VHP crowd may not like some of the Sankaracharyas right now, but
please don't hold advaita responsible for the Amarnath tragedy. For
decades, the leaders of the Amarnath yatras have been advaita monks.
Traditional advaita has always been in touch with Hindu ritualism. Put
the blame where it belongs; don't search for convenient scapegoats.
