More recently, the UK band Kula Shaker have released a song entitled
"Govinda", using the familiar Hare-Krishna movement chant "Govinda Jay Jay,
Gopal Jay, Jay" as its lyrics. Also the album sleeve carries a picture of
Lord Krishna on the cover. The song also contains a George Harrison sample,
the first time he has allowed this to happen.
Kula Shaker aare unashamed throwbacks to the '60s, and the music is
essentially that which was popular at this period.
