Hi,
Sometime back a friend of mine read this prayer - a part of the
Sandhya Vandhanam portion of the Yajur Veda - and shared it with
me. I was able to recognize a couple of the verses as those
I had memorized as a child. I would be very happy if somebody could
fill in the gaps - I would really like to know this entire prayer
in sanskrit. Here goes:

May the wicked become good, may the good attain peace
May the peaceful be freed from bonds, may the freed set others free.

Blessings on the subjects and those who govern,
may the great lords rule according to the path of justice,
May auspiciousness always be with cows and scholars,
may all people be happy.

***
Swastee prajabhayah paripaalayantam
Nyaayaena margaena mahee maheesha
gO brahmaNaebhyaha shubhamastu nityam
lOka samasta sukhinO bhavantu
***

May it rain at the right time, may the earth's granaries be full.
May this country be free from agitation, may knowledge
of the Absolute flow without fear.

May blessings be with the mother, the father,
blessings on the cows and workers in this world.
May everything in this universe flourish, an aid to knowledge.
Long may we see the sun!

An email to ranjani@cs.cornell.edu would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
