REQUEST : Science and the Vedas

I am interested in discussion about the various sciences presented in
the
vedas.For example I read somewhere that there was detailed presentation
about the state-of-the-art aircrafts of vedic times in "vimanayana
sastra" of Atharva veda.Does any body know of books and scholarly works
which tried to explain those mentions?
I read that Mr.Subhash Kak has done some work in those areas too.

I am really impressed by the efforts of this news group members in
trying
to throw light on our unique hindu heritage,the absurdity of the Aryan
invasion theory,and "Bharata Varsha"s place as the cradle of the world's
civilizations.Let's hope more and more work will be done in this area to
present the truth louder and louder.

Any references about the works in the vedas and the science will be
greatly appreciated.
