>>>The answer is quite straightforward. Dharma (right conduct)
is essential for bhakti to bear fruit. While dharma by itself
is not the means, it is invaluable in purifying the mind of
clearing the way for the presentational vision of the Absolute
that is the culmination of bhakti.

Dharma/Bhakti and Avatar - Posted By Yogesh Patel [C] - Wed, 05 Mar 1997 09:38:03 -0600
>>>The fruits of "dharma" is heven -- which is not for ever.
The fruits of "Bhakti" is "moksha" which is for ever.
As Gita says, the purpose of Purusottam's incarnation on the Earth is
to establish "dharms" not "Bhakti" -- But the fruits of "Dharma",
compare to "Bhakti" are inferior and temporary.

>>>Well my friend, I am afraid that your conclusions are quite incorrect.
Hinduism, is, unlike any other religion, designed to be completely
analyzed by its constituents. This means that you can still be an
atheist, theist, or agnostic and call yourself a Hindu. Hinduism can
stand all the grilling questions that you want to present, fire away.

Thank you for so ably and efficiently exemplifying the spirit of your own
religion. Nothing like that 'ol religious tolerance to make the world a

Hinduism state that taking another life is not correct, unless needed

>>>Namaste.
There was a time when, as a western-brought up male, it seemed strange
to me to think of the Divine in feminine terms, let alone worship God as
She. Through a very strange and mystical process spanning a period of
years, I learned that for me it is the most natural thing in the world
