What you just repeated was the 19th century Western
view of Indian religion. The Western understanding
if Hinduism and Indian religion has advanced a great,
great deal since then. Each one of your statements
contains a hypothesis which has since been debunked
or superseded by newer, more informed ones.

All cultures are influenced by invading ones; where
would Christianity be without the confluence of
Greek and Hebrew? To posit this influence, however, as
the central aspect of any major world religion would
be a gross oversimplification.

Please ask your teacher to update his or her course
material!
