I have been reading ancient indian history books.
The one impressed me the most is

"Vedic Aryans and Origins of Civilizations" by
NS Rajarama and David Frawley.

I read review of this book at
http://www.genius.net/indolink/Book/vedicAry.html

I have tried to buy this book in Barnes & Noble but they did not
have it and they said they could not order this book for me.
So, I bought this book from publisher at

World Heritage Press
1270 St-Jean
St-Hyacinthe
Canada J2S 8M2
ISBN is 1-896064-00-0
Cost is $19.95
176 pages

Another book worth reading the Appendices for contributions
of ancient india to the world(such as concept of ZERO was
invented by indians)

The Wonder that was India
by A. L. Basham
Publisher Fontana Books

Another book I read about History of ancient India is

A Survey of Indian History
by K. M. Panikkar
Asia Publishing House
Fourth Edition 1964

According to Hindu calender there are
1. Satya Yuga
2. Treta Yuga ( Time of Rama and Sita)
3. Dwapara Yuga ( Time of Mahabharatha)
4. Kali Yuga ( Time right now)

Well this will take some time for me to organize my thoughts.
I will try to write some thing in next few days.
The last two books I read were very old books I borrowed from
my friend. If you could not find last two books let me know
I will copy some of the pages of the both books and send it to
you by regular mail.(my E-mail no4movie@worldnet.att.net - pardon
me for the ID I have used)

Sincerely
Hara Peruri
