Of all the Rudas I am Lord Shiva, of the Yaksas and Raksasas I am Lord of
wealth[Kuvera], of the Vasus I am fire[Agni], and of mountians I am Meru.
Purport:
There are elevn Rudras, of whome Sankara, Lord Shiva, is predominant. He is
the incarnation of the Supreme Lord in charge of the mode of ignorance in
the universe. The Leader of the Yaksas and Raksasas in Kuvera, the master
treasurer of the demigods, and he is a representation of the Supreme Lord.
Meru is a mountain famed for its rich natural resources.
Some Vaishnav thoughts and prayers:
Lord Shiva is The First Expansion of Lord Krishna (Hari) and he is also
setting an example to the Vaishnav of how to be a devotee of the Lord Sri
Hari. Lord Shiva appeals to those who want material rewards and those who
are in ignorance. Sri Hari is very kind to everyone and gives all a chance
to know him the includes fallen souls like myself.
I chant the names of Sri Hari as he is the very breath of my life and the
Supreme Peronality of Godhead. To chant his names is like nectar and very
day away from him seems like a Million years away from The Lord Sri Hari.
He is the ocean of mercy and everyone's best friend as he accompanies you
even at the time of death. No friend is like him and no one loves me like
he loves me. I like to sing the Glories of My Lord Sri Hari because he is
so kind.
In Kali Yuga Sri Hari has made it easy for us to be free of the cycle of
birth, youth, old age, suffering and death. This is the reality of life no
one can escape them only Sri Hari can deliver us all for this causal ocean
and set us free. Chanting his Holy name is so sweet but I have no taste for
his name but I know my Spritual Master has said that chanting is the way to
get rid of this sickness and he is the representive of Sri Hari. I take
shealter of my Spritual Master for he is very kind to me.
When will I see Sri Hari for he is my most worshipable Lord I have been
away from him for so long, each day is seems like a million years. I want
to serve Sri Hari for he is my true Friend. Bhakti and chanting his holy
names will free us from repeated birth and death. The Kali Yuga is such a
fortunate age as the Lord just asks you to think of him and to chant his
holy names to be free.
One can be the most fallen soul and yet one can be freed you do not need
any special qualifications, just the desire to know Sri Hari. Anyone can
chant his holy names.
The reason why the Gita talk about the other yoga's is to let Arjuna and us
know that they exist but they are not easy to follow in this day and age
(Kali Yuga). The last chapter is called :
Conclusion - The Perfection of Renunciation
verse 65
Always think of Me, become My devotee, worship Me and offer your homage
unto Me. Thus you will come to Me without fail. I promiss you this because
you are My very dear friend.
verse 66
Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall
deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear.
Even the blind and the materially unintelligent persons can see Krishna is
the Supreme Lord. You have to be dead to not realise this but in most cases
people are, they are spritually dead. So wake up and see the truth. I am
not a Hindu I am a Vaishnav I believe in Dharma and all beings are equal,
race colour and creed have no place in Dharma.
