Shila Mehta is a brilliant and accomplished Kathak Danseuse and
choreographer from India. She is a dancer with a rare sense of artistry
and is one of the leading Kathak dancers of India. Shila was awarded
³NRITYA PRAVEEN² for her excellence in Kathak, and is an A¹ grade artist
of Doordarshan. She is on the panel of L.C.C.R. and has performed in
several prestigious dance festivals throughout India. She also teaches
Gujarati Folk Dances.
