This whole article can be summarized in a few lines:

There are people in India who have been ignored to this day by the
right-wing crusade, and now that the Christian missionaries have the
audacity to actually pay even a modicum of attention to these people,
the self-proclaimed Hindu leadership is up in arms.

Perhaps if these same shining examples of Hinduism were actually
caring for their fellow man rather than intimidating Muslims, then the
Christian missionaries wouldn't have any fertile ground. As it stands,
if a man can be converted by giving him two aspirin tablets, it speaks
volumes about how his "own" people have been treating him, doesn't it?

However, it's not surprising to see that the _Christians_ are being
called the evil party in this - it's a lot easier to point fingers now
than admit that there was something wrong from the start...
