REQUEST: What is religion

Hi,
I'm doing some research on the meaning of the term "religion".
Specifically, what religion means to different people. I'd like to know
what the people in your newsgroup think about it.

I'd like to have people, if they would, write a short definition of what
religion means (their own definition). Also, I'd like to know what form
of religious practice they engage in, and where they come from.
