: I have never heard it being claimed that lopamudra, the wife of sage
: agastya was a follower of vAma mArga. In fact, canonical daxiNa mArga
: texts like the lalitA trishatI mention lopamudra. Usually the vAmAchara
: texts claim that they were revealed by shiva to devI or devI to shiva.
: Agastya is claimed to be one of the founders of the daxiNa mArga school
: and lopamudra was also a follower of the same. The vAmamArga people
: usually claim either dattAtreya or matseyendranath as one of their
: founders.
Lopamudra is founder of Haadi School (which is mainly VamaMarga).
(Dattatreya is the topmost ofcourse).
Agastya learned From Haigreva after already Lopamudre knew the SriVidya.
