Elisabeth Bumiller's book "May you be the mother of a hundred sons" is
good place to start. Also if you find it in a library "Mother India" by
Katherine Mayo. The Mayo book will spend eternity on the top of Indian's
most hated book list - and while she may have underlying class and
racial bias - the book reads like the TRUTH. Good Luck.
