Oppiliappan Sannidhi, located near Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu, is
one of the most important of the 108 sacred Sri Vaishnavite shrines
whose glory have been sung by the Azhvaars. People throng in their
hundreds, every day, for fulfilling their vows taken to propitiate the
Lord.

This site describes the history, the ancient Tamil literature, and the
special events associated with this Lord, who Nammazhwaar
describes as "thannoppaarillappan" or One who has no comparision.
