Subject: Assistanceship available Fall 1995
The South Asian Studies Program at the Center for international
and Comparative Studies, is looking for a student (could be work-study or
not) for working on setting up a Kannada Chair at the University of
Iowa. The tasks would include being familiar with the language, the
cultures of Karnataka and a general enthusiasm for cultural activities.
Knowledge of pagemaker is valuable. Most of the work will be assisting in
organizational activities. Anyone interested may please call Dr. Paul
Greenough (335-2825, 335-2222) or Jael Silliman (335-1435). The job
starts in Fall 1995. Thanx........
