Few words about Ananda & Tanusree Shankar's dance style
Their dance style impart the original " Uday Shankar style of
CREATIVE DANCE". Tanusree along with senior staff members of this
institution teach the grammar for this unique gharana.
The discipline, dedication and sincerity required to master the Uday
Shankar style is no way less demanding than that required for training in
any of the other classical dance forms.
Tanusree and Ananda Shankar have great respect for the classical and
traditional dance and music of India. but they also want the world to
accept India as a great progressive nation and not only a tradition bound
superstitious country. This mission of theirs is possible only through
their contemporary stage presentations based on the " Uday Shankar Style".
