Several British members of parliament have extended wholehearted
support for the cause of the 21-year-old Hare Krishna Temple at
Bhaktivedanta Manor near London which the authorities are
threatening to shift under pressure from the local residents.
Members of parliament belonging to the ruling Conservative and
the opposition Labor Party assured the large Hindu community in
UK that they would highlight the issue in parliament.
The parliamentarians told a meeting organized by Hindu Council,
UK, that they would take up the temple matter with relevant authorities.
