Re: RFD: soc.religion.hindu-reorganization

This is perhaps the only part of your response that is even related
to the RFD. The rest seem to be personal attacks, and I'm surprised
that Ajay approved this to soc.religion.hindu. I had hoped that
personal attacks, if they came as a result of this RFD, would have
surfaced only on news.groups, and out of a forum which is supposed
to be devoted to religious discussion.

I would like to politely suggest that you are wrong. All of the people
involved with this reorg proposal are/were active readers or contributors
to both alt.hindu and soc.religion.hindu. The proposal attempts to improve
soc.religion.hindu, and were this a vendetta, why would the proponents
have asked Ajay to be a moderator?

I take offense at that statement. When Ajay asked his friend Vijay Pallod
to call me and speak to me on the phone, the conversation was quite
pleasant, and I would like to believe that Vijay conveyed this back to
Ajay. Vijay explained to me that Ajay wanted to know the motivation for
this proposal, and I very clearly explained it to him. He must have
accepted my explanation, because in the roughly 20-30 minutes we spoke,
he did not bring up the topic again.

Vijay, Mani, Shrisha, and I are not going to become moderators for the
proposed group, nor do we wish to be. That is spelled out in the RFD.
The proposed moderators, by the way, had little to do with the creation
of SRV, and I am saddened to see both you and Ajay taking what amount
to pot-shots at these gentlemen.

This statement doesn't merit a response, in my opinion.
