ARTICLE : The third eye
About Vivekananda's tantra vs. Madhva's dvaita :-
Indeed it is the case that Vivekananda did not write a brahma suutra bhaashya,
so orthodox vedaantins will almost surely neglect him and who else could be
more orthodox that the tattva vaadins.

I believe, mantra drashtaas also have darshan of the Shruti mantras and also
of their apaurusheyatva, and indeed mantra drashtaas are to be believed
because that very Shruti acknowledges their honesty and integrity. And the
Shrutis are to be believed because any text which has an author cannot have
the reputation of apaurusheyatva and since the Shrutis have that very
reputation they cannot be authored texts. But I suppose, at contemporary times
it is rather too difficult to puts the weight of one's philosophy on this
very argument alone. There are many and with sizable following who claim that
their scriptures are unauthored, so how is one to distinguish? The only
possible way is to examine what is the extent of this reputation of
apaurusheyatva which cannot be attained by an authored text. May be, at Srimad
Madhva's time such a popularity was enjoyed by the Shrutis, but how can we
be so sure!!!!! You have to believe _somebody_, at least your family of
tattva vaadins, but then others need not.
Moreover, not being cent percent sure of anything does not necessarily mean
that it is untrue. But then to the tattva vaadins, that which is doubtful is
good for rejection only!!!!!!!!!
