Carol, Lord Krsna appeared in His original form of Syamasundara which is
tinged with the hue of freahly formed blue clouds. At other times He
appeared in different colours, such as greenish in His incarnation of
Ramacandra or as the golden Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, but bluish is the colour
of God's eternal form. For this reason, Lord Krsna is often considered
the greatest incarnation of God.
