REQUEST : Saiva Siddhanta Books
Namaste. vanakkam.
I am looking for the famous saiva siddhanta book called
upamanyu bhakta vilAsam. Even if translations in English are not
available, a source for the Tamil book would help. The book is said to be
similar to periyapurana, which describes the lives of 63 devotees of Lord
Shiva. Any other additional info. on the book would be appreciated.
I am also looking for a good english translation of
thiruvilaiyadal purana, which describes the lila-s of Lord Shiva. I do have
a english translation by Swaminathan but it is very abdriged. I need
another translation for a friend who can not read Tamil.
