It's also a well known fact that the puranas have the cosmology etc of the
universe completely wrong. And about half of ayurveda (or probably more) can
be called the same thing which you claim to have antiseptic properties :-).

Really! This may be the conclusion of your brand of Vaishnavism or some
particular aachaarya. You may be surprised to know that atleast a few highly
evolved souls would disagree with you (eg, chandrashekhara bhaaratii of
Sringeri).

That way the puraaNas say that there is vegetation on the moon, the earth is
bigger than the solar system and so on. Please read the stuff you are praising
before criticizing others.

Are we supposed to infer that you have made a complete study of the koran, or
