One summer day the sons and daughters of lord Krishna went on a picnic in a forest. All morning they played and ate fruits from the trees in the forest and by the afternoon they were all very thirsty. They looked around for some water and one of the princesses found a well, she called the others and they mounted of their horses and looked in the well to see if there was any water in it, but instead they found a lizard at the bottom of the well. The princes and princesses could see that the lizard was suffering do they tried to pull him out of the well but they couldn't take him out.
After they tried very hard and still couldn't get him out, they went back to their father, lord Krishna, to tell him about the lizard. Lord Krishna went to the well in the forest to try to help the lizard. When Lord Krishna saw the lizard in the well, he put his left hand in the well and pulled the lizard out. As soon as Lord Krishna took the lizard out of the well, an amazing thing happened, the lizard turned into a beautiful demigod. He had beautiful garments on and precious gold jewelry.
